A Victorian rosewood work box and a jewellery box, comprising an early 19th century rosewood inlaid work box, rectangular with mother-of-pearl buttons, conforming strung lid and carved escutcheon, opening to a blue paper lined interior with a lift out tray, the underside of the cover lined with blue moire taffeta, with key; together with a Victorian jewellery box, a/f to the mother-of-pearl inlay, the interior with a compartmentalised tray in silver paper and blue silk, the interior lid in ruched silk. Height 12.5 cm, length 25 cm, width 17.5 cm
