A port Arthur British military Flintlock Blunderbuss, lock marked 'Crown VR', top of the butt plate is marked '2', full stock with brass furniture, bell mouth (5 cm) 59.8 cm barrel, hinged 35.5 cm triangular bayonet with lock, 100.5 cm long very rare, only two examples would seem to have survived; possibly there were only four originally. These blunderbusses were kept in the stone guard tower at port Arthur, built in 1835 from stone cut by the point Puir boys
