Description:
Parker Duofold cloisonne limited edition fountain pen 1045/3900, circa 2006. Color: solid yellow (Mandarin) with black end pieces and gold plated trim. There is a small disc featuring cloisonne work on the cap, medium,18ct nib marked M on the feed. Inwooden presentation box and penman ink. In near new condition. First introduced in 1927, the unusual and exotic mandarin yellow Duofold was originally inspired by a cloisonne vase George Parker purchased in Japan. For him, it represented the craftsmanship, artistic tradition and mystery of the Orient. This Duofold cloisonne pays homage to the craftsmanship and artistic heritage of its predecessor and continues the legacy of Parker's most iconic pen. Only 3900 units produced by Parker, individually numbered.
