Collection of 12 cartoons of the Actor Lou Vernon. Commemorating his departure in 1955 to pursue a career in the emerging television industry. Also included is his original screen script for his role as bill Davidson in the 1959 movie 'On the Beach'. A folder of cartoons including the following cartoonists, William Malony 1905-1989, Josef Jonsson 1890-1963, Jack Quayle 1899-1982, Stewart McCrae 1919-2008, Eric Jolliffe 1907-2001, Dick Alderton, Jack Baird 1902-1988, Les Such 1902-1963 Hartmut Lahm 1912-1981. Many of the cartoons refer to Lou as 'Dr Mac', a reference to his long running radio character, an old Scottish doctor.
