A 19th century clockwork table top polyphon musical 8" disc player, in walnut case opening to reveal the internal lid with chromolithograph of musical cherubs, the 8 inch disc secured upon a revolving multi-arm drum and comb with gilt plate detailed 'POLYPHON', the movement below operated by a lever arm to the front. With later box housing 20 further original discs. Apparently working. 26.5 x 24.5 x 18 cm.
