A rare Jian Persimmon-Brown tea bowl, marked 'Xinyao', Song Dynasty (960- 1279), the bowl is covered inside and out with a lustrous brown glaze flowing below the rim and stopping irregularly above the foot exposing the unglazed body, which bears the mark 'Xinyao'. The center of the interior has a light 'Hare's fur' markings, 11.4 cm x 5 cm high
