A Ding finely carved foliate 'Daylily' dish, Northern Song Dynasty (960-1127), the dish features angled sides that rise from a broad base, to a rim bound with silver. The interior is skilfully carved and combed to depict a leafy daylily. It is covered in a pale ivory glaze, fired to a slightly warmer tone,, diameter 15.1 cm, height 2.4 cm.
