A black glazed alms bowl (Zisu), Tang Dynasty, 8th century, in the form of an alms bowl, with virtually no base and the rim curved inward. A very similar example was discovered in the foundations of the Qingshansi pagoda, Shanxi Province. And an almost identical example in the Meiyintang collection,, diameter 8.3 cm, height 4.3 cm.
