A pair of blue and white and iron-red decorated ' Dragon' bowls, Tongzhi mark and of the period, Tongzhi period, Qing Dynasty (1862–1874), Tongzhi six-character seal mark in iron red and of the period (1736-1795), the exterior of each bowl is adorned with iron-red dragons amidst underglaze blue clouds, with a band of waves encircling each foot. The interiors are similarly decorated, each showcasing a dragon. The intricate and dynamic designs reflect the superb craftsmanship and artistic excellence characteristic of the Tongzhi period,, diameter 19.8 cm, height 8.4 cm.
