The censer is supported by three lion mask feet. The exterior is adorned with a continuous garden landscape scene, featuring scholars engaged in activities. The scholars are depicted in various poses, surrounded by elegant flora and traditional Chinese architectural elements, reflecting their scholarly pursuits and harmonious interaction with nature. The detailed artistry of the design exemplifies the level of craftsmanship and aesthetic sensibility of the Jiajing period, 30.9 cm diameter.
