A 19th century French bronzed cast iron figure of 'Spinario', after the Greco-Roman bronze, with foundry mark for 'Barbezat & Co / Val D'Osne Foundry', circa 1860s, height 83 cm. On stand. Provenance: The Honourable Thomas Holt (1811-88). Holt was the first Treasurer of NSW. Thence by descent.
