An antique Sino-Tibetan gilt bronze Shakyamuni Buddha with tightly curled hair (Ushnisha) surmounted by a cintamani finial or magic jewel, his robe tied over the left shoulder, seated in dhyanasana position, with his right hand pointing downward in an earth touching pose (Bhumis-parsha mudra) and his left hand palm held upward dhyana mudra sitting on a double lotus base, late Qing dynasty, 19th century, 16.5 cm high
