Excellent Afghan Pulwar: very good 30' slightly curved, laminated blade with Afghan inscriptions near the ricasso; excellent steel hilt of traditional form; high quality, possibly of Persian manufacture, relief engraved with floral borders & gold inlay work over the entire hilt & pommel with gold highlighted Islamic prayers around the top of the pommel; pierced guard of leaf designs with gold borders; complete with a black leather scabbard; large steel chape & 2 hanging rings.
