A Bohemian reddish brown glass coffee set by Heinrich Hoffman, Des. Alexander Pfohl for H. Hoffmann, circa 1930s comprising a coffee pot, sugar bowl, milk jug, and 4 cups and saucers in unusual deep coffee opaque glass turning auburn to the spout, handle and raised decoration, depicting figures in landscape, fruiting berries and stylised foliage, with bird finials; reputedly made exclusively for a hotel chain in India in the late 1930s, the cups & saucers with the company's butterfly mark to the underside.
