A Royal Vienna cabinet plate, circa 1900, the cavetto painted with a portrait of a gypsy musician holding her string instrument, withing a gilt scrollwork border in red and pastel tones with jewelling, the underside inscribed 'Aus der Fremde' and with underglaze blue shield or beehive mark. With slight wear to the gilding, in otherwise good condition as catalogued, diameter: 24.5 cm
