A 19th century French bronze model of a boy grape picker, mid 19th century, Finelly modelled after 'Le petit Vendangeur' as a boy resting against a tree stump with crossed arms, missing his 'Hotte' (basket carried on the back), raised on a rectangular naturalistic base, incised L.M to the front of the base, and further incised 1849 and Ld to the underside. In otherwise good condition as catalogued, height: 15 cm width: 10.5 cm
