A fine Chinese porcelain figural vase, bearing Qianlong period mark, 20th century, the polychrome decorated baluster form vase, finely hand painted in famille rose palette with figural narrative in landscape featuring a courtly figure, a sage and a scholar in a fenced garden with rockwork and tree, with Chinese key, ruyi and lappet borders to the rim and base, and overglaze apocryphal Qianlong mark to the underside, with stand and fitted case.
