No.32 squadron is a current flying squadron which operates in the Vip and general air transport roles from RAF Northolt in Greater London. Formed in 1916 it was active during the first and second World Wars before being disbanded in 1969. The metropolitan Communications squadron, who had previously been involved in Vip transportation was subsequently renamed no. 32 squadron. In 1995 the Queen's flight was merged into no. 32 squadron to become no. 32 (the Royal) squadron. The current lot is likely the only known example to feature an army number on the case back where others have RAF numbers and is offered in unworn condition.
