Tudor MN74 a military Submariner snowflake marine Nationale Ref 7016/0 a stainless steel wrist watch dated IV.68 1968. Dial: black 'T Swiss T' marked 200m=660ft, luminous baton and dagger numerals, luminous snowflake hands, sweep centre seconds. Calibre: cal. 2483 automatic, 23 jewels. Case: stainless steel tonneau-shaped, revolving bezel calibrated to 60 units, screw-down crown and case back stamped M.N. 74, original oyster case by Rolex Geneva. Case number:. Closure: khaki Nato fabric. Dimensions: 39 mm diameter. Signed: case, dial and movement. Accessories: none. Footnote. Two references were used by Tudor to equip the marine Nationale (French Navy). In 1974, they used the reference 7016, followed by the 9401. Both the 7016 and the 9401 had their back engraved with the Mn, standing for marine Nationale, and the year of issue, 1974 in the case of this lot.
