Two very fine, important Indian maker, silver, table picture frames. By Oomersi Mawji and Sons, circa 1860-1930. Total height: 23 cm x width 14.7 cm. Marked 'O.M. And Bhnj'. The frame depicting flowers and vines plus a typical Indian archway with a peacock atop. Both with 'Easel' supports for table top standing. Note: this maker featured in 1878, at the Parisian Exposition Universelle. Later, retailed by Liberty & Co. Also held by the V&A London.
