Magnificent Victorian five piece sterling silver tea service, comprising a spirit kettle hallmarked London, 1882, Fs//Jh(Sibray, hall & Co (Frederick Sibray & Job Frank hall) and teapot, coffee pot, twin handled sugar bowl and creamer hallmarked London, 1880, Rm//Eh (Martin, Hall & Co (Richard Martin & Ebenezer hall), each item hallmarked to body and under cover and decorated in neoclassical style, set with acorn finial above a hinged cover, with beaded and acanthus borders to shoulder, set above a tapered body engraved with central monogram, beautifully surrounded by engraved architectural, acanthus and foliate motifs, with scrolled acanthus handles, raised on a stepped circular foot with embossed acanthus border, total weight 4989gm, height of spirit kettle 44 cm (5)
