World War I bronze Memorial plaque (death penny): inscribed 'He Died for Freedom and Honour', in the name of 'George Booth', and issued to his next of kin, blank on reverse, 120 cm diameter. Accompanied by original waxed box. Private George Booth, of south Yarra, 52nd Infantry Battalion died of wounds sustained on 17th September 1917. He is buried at the Mont huon military Cemetery at le Treport, France.
