Original artwork for the $100 John Monash polymer Banknote, 1996 Lyell Lance Dolan (b.1942) Sir John Monash, pencil on card, signed and dated '96 at lower right, 34 x 31 cm; framed 56 x 50.5 cm overall. Dolan's original artwork for the $100 Monash/Melba polymer banknote issued in 1966. It was presented to the Monash family by the reserve bank of Australia on the occasion of the release of the new banknotes.
