A gilt-bronze figure of Avalokitesvara Sadaksari, Tibet, 18th century or later, the multi-armed deity seated in padmasana on a double lotus base, the principal hands in anjali mudra before the chest and the attendant arms raised in vitarka mudra and holding a string of beads and a lotus stem, wearing a dhoti and richly adorned with beaded jewels, the face with a benevolent expression, the hair drawn up into a high chignon framed by a foliate tiara, 10.5 cm high.
