Description:
Three old oriental jade cylinder beads, pale tones with some darker inclusions. Finely carved with various designs, C-scrolls, bird etc. Longest 2.7 cm. Provenance: Ex the estate collection of Dr David (Auckland) and M. Stephens. Based in Singapore circa 1956 - 1975. David was a passionate and knowledgeable collector of jade, porcelain and Chinese items. He was a member of the South East Asian Ceramic Society.
