Description:
Two old Chinese jade figured small pieces, pale green, both as a standing figure of cylinder form with pierced suspension hole to the looped back section, one pierced as a bead. Heights 2.7 cm & 2.2 cm. Provenance: Ex. the estate collection of Dr David (Auckland) & M Stephens. Based in Singapore circa 1956 - 1975. David was a passionate and knowledgeable collector of jade, porcelain and Chinese items. He was a member of the South East Asian Ceramic Society.
