A circa 1760 flame mahogany Sheraton knife box, with hinged lid and serpentine front, brass hinges, lock and key. The lid opens to reveal a fitted insert to house multiple knives. The insert possibly a later replacement. Lock in need of attention and box with split to back. Height 22 x 26 x 35 cm.
