A fine Victorian eight day marine chronometer by Fletcher of Berkley square London, circa 1860. Brass bound rosewood case. The traditional gimballed interior supporting the silvered 4.25" dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, with maker's name and address and 'Maker to the Admiralty'. Fully overhauled by master watchmaker (ex. tutor Silverstream Horological School).
