A Chinese order of Wen-Hu ('Striped Tiger') War Medal, circa 1920, in silver gilt and polychrome enamels, an early 20th century issue of the Chinese order of the Wen-Hu or 'Striped Tiger', with central reserve of an enamelled tiger in yellow and black on a green and blue background atop a silver sunburst with three stars (representative of being a 1st, 4th or 7th class badge) and original enamelling. With mark of maker Wenbao stamped to the reverse. The neck ribbon is not present. 6 cm high, 5 cm wide
