A Japanese Kyoyaki Imperial tea bowl by Kiyomizu Rokubei V (1875-1959), Showa period (1926-1989), circa 1930s, of tenmoku form with a waisted rim, covered in a 'Gohon' glaze with delicate pink spots, the front decorated in white enamel and gilding with the Imperial kikumon (chrysanthemum crest) in white enamel and gilding. Impressed hexagonal Rokubei mark to the base. 6 cm high, 12 cm diameter
