A small Milanese Bone-Inlaid walnut desk in the manner of Adriano Brambilla, last quarter 19th century, of English davenport desk form, the top with a spindle gallery to the rear (detached and incomplete) and an inlaid rectangular panel to the centre in bone, stained wood, and nacre depicting a classical figure travelling across the sky in a chariot acompanied by attendants, the keyholes to the front and sides with winged mask escutcheons in bone, otherwise densely inlaid throughout with geometrical designs, the oval cartouche inlaid to the rear of the top engraved 'Ar' and signed 'P. Campi incise', 79 cm high, 55 cm wide, 52 cm deep
