An impressive pair of George III sterling silver sauce tureens, William fountain, London, 1804, each oval in outline, the moulded body with gadrooned rim standing on four paw feet, a pair of bifurcated foliate loop handles to the ends, the domed and moulded cover with a foliate loop finial on a gadrooned base, the bodies engraved to both sides with a heraldic archievement and motto, the covers with a crest, 16 cm high, 23.5 cm wide, 13.5 cm deep, 2,372g in total
