An antique Longchamp glazed earthenware asparagus service, late 19th century, twelve plates, a serving cradle on feet, and an ornamental bunch of asparagus, the wells of the plates formed with cradles modelled as asparagus spears within the moulded borders, the serving cradle also modelled as asparagus spears, the plates impressed 'Longchamp Terre de Fer' and with pattern numbers underside, the ornamental bunch probably later, the plates each 26 cm in diameter. The cradle 9 cm high, 24 cm wide, 17 cm deep
