Antique garnet 'Sunflower' necklace, circa 1780, the Georgian necklace is composed of a graduated row of flowerheads embellished with foil-backed oval garnets alternating between collet-set cushion-shaped garnet connectors, completed by a similarly set box clasp, internal circumference 400 mm. Accompanied by a S.J.Phillips fitted box, a the British antique Dealers' Association Ltd. Declaration for Customs purposes, numbered 90303, dated 5 July 1990.
