A George III mahogany longcase clock, George Hatch, St. Albans, Hertfordshire, circa 1780s with a swan neck pediment & brass ball finial above a square painted dial with Roman numerals, birds & decorative floral spandrels, with seconds subsidiary dial, date aperture and inscribed 'Geo. Hatch St. Albans', flanked by fluted pillars to, the side above a shaped panel cabinet door with quarter fluted pilasters body upon a squared base with bracket feet, with an 8 day anchor escapement, striking on a bell, with key. Height 232 cm, width 54 cm, depth 26 cm
