An Indian .800 silver three-piece tea set, unmarked, X-ray tested 800 silver, probably Madras, early 20th century comprising a teapot, milk jug, and sugar basin, the teapot of compressed globular form upon a spreading circular foot, with elephant head curved spout and handle, and domed cover with Vishnu finial, the body and cover repousse and chased in, the swami style with vignettes of Hindu deities, with matching milk jug and similarly designed sugar basin with a fluted rim, unmarked.
