A large Victorian sterling silver meat platter, 1842 London, with maker's mark for Robert & Sebastian Garrard, the fine platter, shaped oval, with wavy cast scrolls border, further engraved inside, the border with foliate and curvilinear motifs on parcel-matted ground, sided by lavish palmette handles, marked to, the underside and further stamped 'R&S Garrard Panton St London'.
