A Russian silver and niello cigarette case, .875 silver (84 zol.), St Petersburg, with combined city and standard mark (1882-1899) rectangular with rounded corners and gilt interior, with a troika scene to, the hinged cover surrounded by foliate scrollwork on stippled ground, the base with navette reserve monogrammed Ms in script, surrounded by checker-board design and scrolls, marked to, the interior and with maker's mark Np (Cyrillic).
