A Chinese red pottery model of an ox, Han Dynasty (206 Bc-Ad 220), the robust beast depicted standing four-square, with a humped back, head projecting forward, bulging annular eyes, closed mouth, and a curled tail, with traces of white pigment, the right foreleg repaired.
