A Southern Indian brass, copper and silver bowl, probably Tanjore, late 19th to early 20th century of rounded shape, the plain base gently convex, the exterior adorned with a band of twelve oval cartouches of repousse silver deities (X-ray tested), further decorated with copper bosses to, the rim and foot, copper inlaid rosettes and beaded bands, unmarked. Height 6.5 cm, diameter 12 cm
