Early 20th century Russian icon, with pre 1908 kokoshnik mark and assayer initials of Ivan Sergeyevich Lebedkin (Moscow 1898-1914), makers mark of Sergey Shaposhnikov (Moscow 1897-1908), portraying Christ the Pantocrator with right hand in blessing and left hand holding the open Gospel, with a gilt silver oklad engraved with foliate motifs and pierced halo, 27 cm x 22.5 cm.
