19th century Russian silver icon, stamped 84, with 1882 assay mark of Ivan Yefimovich Konstantinov (Moscow 1875-1882), makers mark possibly Ivan Zakharov (Moscow 1856-1896), depicting St.Nicholas with his Bishop's crown (commonly referred to as 'Winter Nicholas') with right hand raised in stavros blessing and left hand holding aloft a closed Gospel, flanked by Jesus Christ and the mother of God suspended above clouds, a/f (pierced halo fixings loose), 31 cm x 27 cm
