A pair of Royal Worcester porcelain figures, shape nos 2659 and 2660, dated 1917 and 1918, each modelled as a classical female figure in long robes standing on a low shaped base, one holding a lyre, the other a tambourine, the skin and hair ivory ground, the drapery and bases gilt, the drapery also with coloured tints, printed factory marks underside, each 35 cm high.
