A Kerr & Binns Worcester porcelain covered vase, dated 1862, the decoration attributed to James Callowhill and Thomas Scott Callowhill, of flattened bottle shape on a spreading elliptical foot, with a conforming domed cover, white ground with the moulded decoration in various bright colours and with gilt details, the fluted neck above a pair of horned masks to the shoulders and a band of classical decoration in relief to the body centred on a putto mask to the front and reverse, printed red shield factory mark underside, 21 cm high. Condition: restored chip to lid, gilt wear. Missing section inside lid & tip of finial restored) rams heads to each lug restored. Area of possible restoration to central portrait
