A pair of Royal Worcester porcelain covered vases, dated 1862, the enamel decoration attributed to Thomas Bott, Snr, each of flattened bottle shape on a spreading elliptical foot, a pair of satyr masks to the shoulders, with a domed and finialled cover, cobalt blue ground with gilt rim, masks, and foot, the front of each decorated with a gilt cartouche enclosing a portrait respectively of Lorenzo de' Medici and Cosimo de' Medici, the reverse of both with a crest, printed factory marks underside, 18.5 cm high. Condition: one lid has a small chip to its finial. The other lid finial repaired. The bottles have only minor gilt loss
