A pair of Kerr & Binns Worcester 'Limoges Enamel' decorated vases, late 1850s, the enamel decoration almost certainly by Thomas Bott Snr, each of baluster shape on a circular foot with a pair a inward-scrolling handles to the shoulders, all cobalt blue ground with enamelled classical motifs and yellow enamelled (formerly gilt) details throughout, the front of each body with a cartouche decorated in white enamel with a classical allegorical female figure, the reverse sides enamelled with a classical mask within a scrolling foliage, 32.5 cm high. Condition: Examination under Uv light reveals extensive variations in glazing and decoration throughout both vases indicating extensive restoration
