A Royal Worcester porcelain 'Limoges Enamel' decorated plaque, dated 1888, the enamel decoration by Thomas John Bott, rectangular, cobalt blue ground, finely decorated in white enamel with 'Le jeune veuve' after Jean-Baptiste Greuze, signed 'T.J. Bott. 1888.' at the edge of the head drapery lower right, mounted in an antique carved and gilt frame (the reverse of the plaque presently concealed), 24 x 19 cm (approx.). Condition: plaque: apparently in very good condition, light surface scratches to blue ground. Reverse not inspected presently sealed within the frame., frame: some fine cracks/losses to gilding
