A pair of Kerr & Binns Worcester porcelain vases, dated 1862, the enamel decoration by Thomas Bott, Snr, each of flattened bottle shape on a spreading elliptical foot, a pair of satyr masks to the shoulders, in a soft blue ground with gilt rim, masks, and foot, the front of each decorated in monochrome enamels with a scene of a putto driving a chariot drawn respectively by panthers and goats, the reverse and the neck with classical foliate designs, each signed by Bott with initials underside together with the printed red shield factory mark incorporating the date mark, each 15.5 cm high. Condition: slight crazing, small chip to back top lip of one, end of one horn missing., hairline crack to rim of one flask., Wear and minor losses to gilding in places.
