A pair of Royal Worcester porcelain figures, 'Joy' and 'Sorrow', Class 2 shape nos 57 and 58, dated 1925, each modelled as a half draped classical female figure standing on a moulded low base, one holding a dove to her chin, the other mourning a dead dove in her hand, the skin and hair glazed in ivory, the drapery, doves, and bases gilt, printed factory marks underside, 25 cm and 24.5 cm high. Condition: wear to gilding in places
