An English porcelain plate, decorated by Thomas Baxter, Jnr, early 19th century, probably Worcester or Coalport, the well decorated by Baxter en rosaille with Venus in her chariot drawn by doves after Raphael Sanzio, signed 'T. Baxter' lower left, the border gilt decorated with a repeating design of foliage within C scrolls, unmarked as to manufacture, 23.5 cm diameter. Condition: wear to paintwork and gilding overall.
